Biography
Nic was called to the Bar in 2025. He has a diverse practice spanning public law, criminal law, mental health law, statutory prosecutions, family law, sports law, inquests and personal injury law.
Nic has a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and is completing a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2019 and is also entered in the High Court Register of Practitioners.
Before coming to the Bar, Nic was Acting Principal Lawyer at Crown Law. He appeared regularly in the Queensland Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Queensland, Mental Health Review Tribunal, Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the Queensland Human Rights Commission.
Nic is a member of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association (FLPA), the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) and the Australian Institute of Administrative Law (AIAL).
