Biography
Mark practices mainly in the areas of trust and estate litigation and more broadly commercial disputes. He has particular knowledge and interest in property and equity matters and has developed expertise in elder law including substituted decision making.
Mark holds the Degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Queensland and Masters of Law (QUT). In 2011 he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship and travelled to Canada, the UK and the United States to study Elder Abuse response frameworks.
Prior to coming to the Bar in 2020 Mark was the Official Solicitor to the Public Trustee from 2005 as well as Deputy Public Trustee from 2016. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1991.
